Statement of Faith

At Child Refuge, we believe that the Bible is the inerrant and inspired Word of the living God. It is the Word that brings truth, wisdom, freedom. Even in the midst of confusion and pain, His Word can bring solace, healing and guidance.

We believe that there is one true God existing eternally in three persons:  God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, functioning as one entity.

We believe that Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully human. He is co-creator and is eternal with the Father and Holy Spirit. He was born from a virgin birth, lived a sinless life, and then allowed Himself to crucified to pay the price for the sins of all human beings. He was resurrected from death by the power of the Holy Spirit, was seen by hundreds of witnesses and then ascended into heaven. One day He will return to set up His eternal kingdom on this earth.

We believe that the Lord has called us to minister to those wounded by sexual exploitation and sexual abuse within the American church. These men and women who abuse blaspheme the Name of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is passionate about saving these youths from losing their faith because of the wickedness of wolves in sheep’s clothing and that He desires to protect those young people that the devil and his demons would seek to violate.

We believe that there is a massive spiritual war happening right in front of our eyes, and the stakes are for the future of the Church in our nation. The devil desires for the church to wither and die, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ to fade in the United States. Sadly, he has been successful in many ways by aiming deceptions and attacks at our children. However, with the power of the Holy Spirit, we can do anything that God has called us to do, no matter how dire the situation may seem.
